I done some searching on the net a while back trying to find a place reasonably close where a guy could do atop speed run leagally and didn't have any luck. I even called a retired State Policeman I know that lives just down the road from me and asked him if any of their places where they done driving training was capable of renting or something. I explained to him what I was wanting to do, he said when they started getting the Stangs & Camaro's they went to the Brick Yard. He suggested to do what I did on a open strech of road with no side roads onto it early in the mornings. He grew up just off the high way where I done the 186, he asked me how fast I'd had it and I told him a little over 180, then I told him where. He laughed and said he use to drag race there when he was younger, he also said thats about the best place to attempt high speed runs. Would you be satisfied with a picture of the speedometer when I get the ***** up enough to give it a shot, that is if I'm not too scared to take one hand off the wheel. I seen SRT6nulsa had posted a picture of a speedometer reading 200, I'm guessing a photo-chop.

haha- it isn't you i distrust - just think it would be good for all of us owners to sponge off your fame if we have some credible documentation..
if your car has that much go its way over the top impressive...and safety is a given.
so much bs out there, you know?
guess i thought the track would have some way to easily record the speed--
my ignorance. all you have to do is say you did it. just wish there was a way to record it for posterity--
or really just a record of the top speed to date? and to beat?

bikecop -- pocket radar? it seems so easy...

glad to sponsor your wife, just pm me an address. that pales compared to getting this thing in the 190's.
good golly miss molly that car over 190! is it really possible? you be a god.
