The 60' times and the great 0-60 times are in large part the result of the Phantom grip LSD that causes both wheels to pull. With the traction control off you get more power to the ground and the computer does not cut the throttle signal or apply the ABS system to limit wheel spin. You are not pushing both rear axles and can not really take benefit of the torque available.
The muffler is a simple stainless 4" wye pipe that retains all of the cats {ha ha not Nick or Natasha } and the resonator. That had lots of internal stuff and weighed a ton. I like the sound and it feels like it pulls better after cutting it. You can cut yours and add a straight pipe to see if you like it and reinstall it with a compression clamp if your not thrilled with the result and sound.
The porting was described in the forum under the name
woody woodworth as "Polishing and gasket matching part 1; - 4" Hope it is of value. BTW the underlap like the photo above 70gt6[ I believe ] is about 1/8 inch all way around and that is BAD cause it is turbulent to the max, disrupts the orderly air flow. THe fix is easy and takes several hours to complete, check it out.
