Irwin, I truly feel your pain and thankfully you weren't hurt, I am still licking my wounds from my accident. If the insurance totals it , they have to put you in the same financial position prior to the accident. In other words , what would it take to buy a car like yours in your area {minus the mods} millage & condition & color. I used auto trader as a comparison, and don't let them have the car till you have reached a settlement on the car. that also gives you time to get all your goodies off her before they take position of it.
