Default Re: Kleemann $$$???

I'm going to assume at this point no one knows much about this system, I figured someone would have done this before.

"No intercooler, you're asking for problems. FMIC is cheap insurance especially for wanting to spend 9500$ for a Kleeman setup"

The System comes with an Air to Water Intercooler that is more efficient then the AMG equivalent including its own pump.

"I just want to know if Kleeman will reprogram my ecu for a reasonable rate. They can keep their supercharger. There are plenty of options such as Powerdyne, paxton, etc.... for a lot less than 12 grand. Not to mention the compressed air from these centrifugals are the lowest temp available."

My understanding is they have a system that runs in parrallel with the stock ECU to feed more fuel, i don't believe it could be used in any other way.

So for fun I'm going to do some math:
Vortec v5 supercharger $2200.00
Vortec powercooler $2300.00
Vortec tunable fuel reg $400.00
Blow off valve $ 270.00
Asorted hoses/Fitting $300
Mounting brackets/cust $ 400.00
Aluminum pipe 3" w/bends $250.00
Silicon hose $ 100.00
Air cleaner $ 50.00
Tune and Dyno time $500.00
ECU mods??? $ ????

So you could spend $6800.00 + on a custom system or $9500 on a proven system with a warrenty.

I think I'll start saving up and be the first one to do it, might take a year or so.
