I have a question about the VIN for the Crossfire that I can't figure out. Why is the first digit of the VIN a "1" which would indicate that the car is built in the US? Why isn't the first digit a "W", indicating that the car is in fact built in Germany? A minor point for sure, but one that has me stumped. I thought I had VINs figured out and now this.
