Default Re: Can anyone post links to purchase these mods?

HyprLtH20,

You have to remember that the Mercedes Benz M112 engine is built out pretty well from the factory.

Cams, Fuel injectors and an ECU tune are probably going to see biggest results on the naturally aspirated engine. Removing the resonator and Plugs & Wires, will help also.

Remember not to remove too much back pressure or you will lose the finely tuned scavenging that's already desinged into this engine. The M112 was built to make a serious dent in the emissions area. This also translates to some good performance out of the engine stock.

If you are thinking of dumping in more than $10,000 into your Crossfire for 'mods' to get the horsepower up, you may want to hunt around for an SRT6 and just upgrade, the cost will be pretty much a wash. Also, there are some killer upgrades for the SRT6 now and they can be pushed up to or over 400 HP at the crank. Overdrive pulleys, SL55 Intake (which is also good for the non-supercharged versions), ECU tunes, the list goes on...

Just curious, what is your ultimate goal with your Crossfire? What year, model, style and color do you have?

Cheers!
