Re: Irwin, Wrecked His Black Beauty, avoiding a Deer, Last Night!
Look... im not going to buy a house at this moment nor did i quit my job i enlisted in the army reserves, which during basic and if i were to be called up to active duty(more than likely) my company would make up my pay, true i would loose some money due to not having over time but i also wouldnt have to pay any taxes on my pay from the military. this turns into a wash essentially due to the fact that i dont own a home with a mortgage... my cabin is paid for in full, and i have no children IE lotsa taxes. i go on to say that having 1000 bucks a month in car payments 350 in insurance and a couple hundred more in other bills makes it hard to buy a HOUSE in Martland when the going rate for a decent 2 bedroom condo in a decent neighborhood is over the 200k mark. i got a high interest loan on my car originally because i had 2 tax liens from when i had moved both were for less than 200 bucks and both were incorrect, took me about 6 months to get those taken care of and off of my record (i didn't know about them until i went to purchase the car) i tried to refinance the car after those were taken care of but in that time span the prices had dropped so much that no one would finance it... i was stuck either coughing up 10-12k to refinance or keep making the payment, i took the 10k put in the car and kept making the payment. i loved that car it was my pride and joy, my mother referred to it as her grandson, i took it everywhere to show it off, had a great time with picked up allot of women in it and made allot of good friends due to it. i wish nothing more than to get in that car tomorrow and drive it not my pickup to the dragon. further more the reason i wanted to sell it before so i could buy a house is because i dont want to be yet another person who made themselves house pour. i wanted to buy an older house to fix up and make my own just like my cars but not quite as flashy lol. stuff for houses costs money... roof 10k easy, siding K easy, landscaping 8k easy, these things add up very quickly as most homeowners know but they are things that need to be done and/or you want to do, i am not a carpenter, i try but...., regardless contractors arent cheap and i would rather pay someone to do it right the first time then to pay them to do it the second time. this is what you call financial planning, i would also like to retire one day... i dont want to start saving when after i paid my 30 yr mortgage off and i like to have money for a rainy day and my other numerous hobbies and projects. so i've completely and utterly discussed my personal finances to try to clear any misconceptions that might have been made due to some ******** comments, on that note after doing this many times now i would like to end with you better hope i never meet you, i dont take kindly to people calling me a liar slandering me, or insulting me especially in front of people i consider friends and "colleagues".
