Not quite the same thing happened to me last fall. Driver to my left was making a legal 45% right turn, but forced me over too close to the curb on the right and I just clipped it withe the edge of my right front tire.
The car felt solid to me as well. When I could pull over the right front wheel had a fist size chunk missing as well as the edge bead of the tire. Amazing but it did not go flat. The impact knocked the center cover off and it flew back to the rear. The right rear tire had a perfect slice through the sidewall and we think that came from the front cover. Again the car remained stable even with the rear flat.
Upon closer inspection the front wheel had been shoved to the rear about 1.5 inches and was just barely rubbing the inner liner. There appeared to be no body damage at all. Because my dealer has been so good with my cars over the last 10 years (had Crysler/Jeep products BC [Before Crossfire]) I let them take care of it.
Had the frame checked at a top notch independent and they said it was 99.99% true and probably no better than when new.
After getting it back, I noticed that there was little to no gap between the right door top front edge and the rear edge of the fender. The hood also stuck out less than 1/4" than the point where it meets with the top of the fender over the headlight assembly.
While the frame was straight, the top edge of the inner fender lip had a small "wrinkle" on the side by the battery. They had to pull the top edge of that metal fender liner in the engine compartment appx 1/4" forward. Now everything lines up like new.
The insurance company was great (Farmers) Even gave me a check for two new tires so I could choose four new ones (I only paid an extra $200 for all four including road hazzard damage replacement from Americas Tire)
Bottom line, check it carefully. These cars are built like little tanks. Check all the fender seams and make sure they replace all the front wheel components including suspension and ARB.
I know how much it hurts to see the car in this condition, but I am sure you will get it back as new...Good Luck!
