Default Lower engine temp

Well, the dealership finally did as I ask (after 2 weeks) and replaced the IC pump which took care of my SC cutting out. Now comes something interesting, during their quest to repair the SC, they replaced a temp sensor and put in a new electronic control chip. My engine temp used to run right at to just above the center mark consistantly, NOW is stays below center and fluctuates between the center and the next line down. It never reaches the next line down but comes very close. Granted it has been 45 -52 degrees here in Jersey since I got the car back but 80mph and 60 mile treks keep it at that position. I know it was running higher before service so something they did made the difference. Just thought I would throw that out to you guys and see if maybe there is another way to lower the engine temp without the spacers and thermosate (or at least in conjuction with)
