I did'nt bother to remove the gas pedal, or anything else. I just just used a flat screw driver to pull the little tab away that secures the connector in place, and separate the connector off the top of the pedal, connected the s.b. to it, and then the other end, and tucked it away behind the panel above the pedal. I could not see the need to remove the pedal, although of course it will make the job less fidley.
As for the results - Im very dissappointed, Its made a slight difference to throttle response in the mid range when I want to drive hard, but it dos'nt pull away any better as the throttle lag is still the same. So for normal driving there is no difference to me. Having read all the hype on this maybe I was expecting too much, but I think they are a waste of money!
