Yea, I have never used a company to do mine but when I was pricing oil/filter, it is cheaper for my dealership to do it ($95). If I can get the oil for cheap, I will most definitely do it myself
I honestly don't trust anyone doing stuff on my car, but recently I don't have as much time as before, so some things I have to pass onto the shop.
I've always used Mann filters but mainly because i've only ever owned BMW in the past and Bavarian Autosport got great deals on them and were highly recommended, so that's what I used.
I'm in the middle of checking up on Hengst as arado suggested but haven't made any decisions yet. Price and quality obviously are the most important heh
