First to second in the Crossfire is very close. Therefore, the stick can be annoying in traffic and the auto goes just as fast so unless you really enjoy the control of a manual (much of which is given up on a computer controlled engine) go auto.

I like the manual shift for many reasons not the least of which is that my wife doesn't. When we travel an interstate highway route, she drives, uses the cruise control. Back roads are mine. So far,I like the arrangement.

As for the white, it may be a little more to keep clean but it looks marveleous. White doesn't show all that much dirt anyway. Only clean freaks would notice.

White doesn't get hot like the slate.
