I use Tamiami Chrysler in Miami. Because I have been there so frequently the past couple of months, I am on a first name basis with everyone from the guys who bring and take the XF in for repairs to the head of service to the Enterprise rental personnel. I keep asking them when is payday. They know both SRT's intimately. They smile and shake their heads when I drive into the dealer

They finally gave me Ashley's wing unpainted. They wouldn't paint it due to the fact that the color was changed. They wanted the old one before they gave me the new one...... They finally relented and gave it to me. What was I going to due with the cracked one? Fix it and sell it on Ebay. Today it was painted. Tomorrow the wing will get another coat of braze red. I dropped her SRT today to remove the old cracked wing, replace the struts (hopefully) replace the valve cover gaskets (slightly leaking)

I purchased my SRT from Punta Gorda Chrysler, but I really have minimal experience with their service department. Tamiami really does not have a truely competent or certified tech for XF's. Bur the head guy will listen if you can get to him and his assistant is a good guy.I think I have probably educated them as much as anyone with the forum's very knowledgable members. ie IC pump.

Good luck. Let me know where you go. If you know what the problem is, I think most dealers will follow you lead. If they don't look for a different dealer. Try and see if you can talk to the head of service. Pick his brain.
