Saturday night I went on a date, which means the XF needs to be in top form. So I dropped my car off at the detail shop and she got a bath and a wax along with an interior cleaning and some nice Vanilla scent. I was really happy with it. I swung by the flower shop and got a flower and I was off to my date. The girl gets in my car and we head to dinner, she makes a few comments about how clean my car is and how she has never seen an XF. WOOHOO a girl interested in cars I thought, as the night went on things go well until the end of the date. I pull up to her house and we are chatting, and as shes getting out of the car she says " I cant go on another date with you because you obviously car about your car too much." I just sat there shocked. Is it that bad that I take care of my investment
Strangely enough, I went out on a date with someone on Saturday too. It didn't end quite like yours, but she did ask why I bought the car. I explained that I saw it at the dealership, liked how it looked, liked the fact that it was a rebodied Mercedes SLK320, had a lot of power, etc. She was totally lost.
What she did appreciate, however, was finding out that she was the first person to take a ride in the passenger seat of the car. Girls...
