Maybe you are doing to much to impress? I sure hope the flowers was not for the first date... you see when someone really wants to get to know you and impress you.. it always feels like they have some kind of agenda behind it.. and prolly she felt this way.. and did not want to offend you directly so she said something negative about the car..

Don't take it to heart move on find other woman to practice your wooing on... but remmber if you are using the crossfire (or anything for that matter) as a prop make sure it is natrual to you and don't make it.. as if it is a big deal to you... let it be your way of life a set of high standards you expect her to fit into as well..

I may be wrong and she may be a complete psycho, but somehow I don't think so...
