This info is shown under statistics on the home screen. It would be impossible to try to contact every member who ever registered here and has gone inactive and many probably don't have the same email either.
Thanks for the history of when the forum began and the current status of the registered members re active/inactive status. That's the type of information that is needed before a true determination of who should be dropped from the registered membership can be decided.

I look at the situation in a different view now. I know I was impressed when I was first able to register here and saw 13,000+ registered members. I thought this is quite a site to generate that much interest among Crossfire owners. Now I realize only about 13% of the 13,000+ actually are or have participated over the not too distant past. Having 1748 active members is quite an accomplishment compared to another forum (non-XFire) of mine, where our total membership was culled to less than 2000 under similar circumstances and roughly 10% actually participate as posters.

I'm new here and I'm trying to be as active as I can. Participation is the name of the game when it comes to forums on the Net. Without it, there would be no forums. There would be no interaction between people. There would be no new friendships made. There would be no interests shared.

If the powers-to-be feel they want to eliminate inactive members, do it and be done with it. After all, the people we communicate with on a regular basis will still be here.
