Regarding what TVT says - it matches the Chrysler wing.
Presumably you've noticed that the silver/gray on the grill is the same as the rest of the car - it also carries on the theme to the fin type pieces on the front wings (3 stripes on the grill, and 3 on the panel). I've seen an all black grill out there and it looks good from straight on (wasn't on a Crossfire), but it may not match in with the pieces on the front wing.
