I said I would report back in my first post and here is the report. I looked at a few and test drove a couple over the last week or so. Yesterday, I brought home an Aero Blue Roadster. I think it is just what I was looking for in terms of having the fun factor of my S2000, but with more refinement and less of a hard edged, single purpose feel.
I know folks have complained about the ride, but to someone who's been driving an S2K for 4 years it feels like a luxo-cruiser!

The ride is not much harsher than my wife's Suburu Legacy GT. The SRT6 isn't as flickable as the S2K but it isn't as twitchy either. It is great to have power available anytime you press the throttle as opposed to constantly rowing the shifter and pounding the clutch pedal to stay in the narrow 6K to 9k RPM VTEC powerband of the S2000. I am going to miss that 9K RPM scream a bit...but the SRT6 supercharger whine will help me get over that.
I have been married for 18 years and owned many cars during that time. This is the first one that my wife didn't immediatly hate when I brought it home. She actually likes the looks of it and is looking forward to driving it. (She has NEVER driven one of my cars before in all of those 18 years.)
My 15 year old son, while sad to see the Honda go, also loves it. I let him drive it briefly (with me in the passenger seat) and he was jazzed for hours. He started talking about getting a non-SRT Crossfire for him when he gets his license in July. (Good luck with that.) I had forgotten that a couple of years ago, he developed a paper for school about the Genesis of the Crossfire and the unique way it was conceived, designed and manufactured by Daimler-Chrysler. He probably knows more about Crossfires than some owners.
I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyment with my new Roadster and to getting to know my fellow owners here on the Forums better. I have tossed some photos of the car that I purloined from Auto Trader until I can find the time to take some decent ones. But it isn't like noone has seen a stock Aero Blue Roadster on this Forum before.
