but from that graph you do see tq starts dropping quickly at 5200rpm. it also looks like power in the graph is curving downwards at 6000 rpm, no reason in producing anymore power above 5200 anyways, since this is a rigid 90 degree block, anything over 6000rpm is getting to be a bit too shaky with vibrations
Oh man I had to laugh at that.

looking at the dyno graph i posted you gain both wtq and whp from 5200 all the way to about 5800rpms then you may lose 3wtq after 5200 rpms but still gain hp. it is beneficial to run all the way to redline/6k rpm. you can shift at 5200 and lose races/time at the track if you race but i plan to run through my entire powerband and use the car to its peak power as it was intended. I raced my last supercharged car actually past redline every time i raced it (also a supercharged V6) for over 4 years with zero problems. you will see substantially better track times and you will fall into your powerband much better when your car shifts by going to redline. I can type it out in a chart using excel if it would make it easier for you to understand, it will be next week though. i am leaving today to go on a business trip and will not return until sunday.

ignore the facts and grannyshift your car but that is the simple truth. I plan to get the maximum power out of my car but that is my choice. It will not harm it at all
