This is not the same problem but the last time I drove the car was a nice day in March. It sits in a garage with an alarm system so I just left the key in the ignition in the off postion. Didn't know that the battery will still drain with the key in so last week when the sun came out and it's 70 degress I go out to put the top down and the car is dead. All I had to do was get the battery pack out and the car started but that's the last time I leave the key in it.
