Agree, I do not believe the gas mileage would be better than 18mpg. I think my daughter gets 16-17mpg. Admittably (if that is a word) due to my aggressive foot finding the warp button under the accelerator, I am lucky to get 13 mpg. Had a flashback to earlier today as I was coming home from golfing. (no clubs in car) and after I went past the tollgate with 2 miles till my exit, I pushed it to 125 and it felt sooooooooooooooo goooood.
PS I got really lucky yesterday. (I hope my luck continues) I was on the way to my office (after golf) and was cruising at 90-100 and I had to slow doWN becase this person in this ricer moved over into my lane. Since I was coming up to the toll booth I slowed down and moved over to the left lane to go thru the sunpass prepaid toll. I bumped the SRT back up towards 100 and Vanlentine went off. I dropped to 70 mph in 6 feet. Just then I see a petty State Trooper sitting on the left side and thought," oh well he got me". Well about that time I was coming up on the toll and had slowed down to 30 when the trooper pulled out and turned his lights on. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam
Guess what.

The moral of the story.............DON'T BUY A BRIGHT YELLOW CAR. 
And buy a valentine radar detector.
