I have a question regarding the modified cold air intakes that I see posted on this forum. The ones I am refering to are the ones with the round cone filters in the engine bay. Although it looks nice, would this not defeat the purpose since it is sucking in hot air from the engine bay? I would think that the stock design of the intakes are more accurate as cold air intakes since it sucks in cold air from the front grill of the car instead of the hot engine bay...What are your thoughts?
