IMO I think the styling of the GTO is poor. GM did a poor job on this one. As far as the G8 I'm not a fan of 4 doors anyway. It's better than the GTO IMO but still don't like it. I actually get about 21 mpg with my SRT6. Maybe I drive it a little lighter than others most of the time. The SRT6 is a terrific car you would not be disappointed. I'm 5'11" so cant't help you with the fitment issue. I fit just fine.
