I used to have an SRT-4 and feel that the SRT team makes an excellent product.
Would you mind giving me your thoughts between the two? I'm 6'0 / 180lb and I'm kinda worried the car will be too small for me. I commute to work about 20 miles each way.
Let me know if any of you have any experience with the two vehicles.
I am personally looking for a Crossfire myself. While it's no GTO, I have an F-Body with the older LS1 engine, and here's my subjective observations from one single test drive:
1. The SRT6's acceleration does NOT feel like my LS1. It is not necessarily better or worse, but it does feel very different. While my car has violent, neck-snapping torque right from the get-go, the SRT6 instead keeps you constantly pinned to the back of your seat. It doesn't let up until you let go of the gas.
2. I'm 5'11", 180, and the first time I got in a Crossfire, I immediately felt claustrophobic. There's so little room, and I had to make an effort to get in. However, I fully expect to get used to this very quickly if I purchase a Crosffire. Of course, this is after coming from a car where you practically have to be 5'8" or taller just to see over the dashboard.
I think a test drive or two will help you make up your mind better than anyone here can. But I'll tell you I'm still looking for an SRT6.
