! Mine has 13k miles on it and it's been in the shop once for a faulty seatbelt alarm. German cars have been known to have electrical issues, but the engines and drive train are usually indestructible. The seat heater issue is common and should have been addressed by Chrysler and Mercedes a long time ago with a recall. The paint and chrome issue is a new one. That is very strange.
