*Title should be SPARK PLUG....of course.
After searching for spark plugs, I see a lot of recommendations for BKR5EIX-11 Iridium IX so I thought I would check them out.
I went to NGKs website and found them a recommended plug for the 3.2 N/A but
not on the list for the S/C version.
So I fired off an email to NGK asking for technical info and here is the reply:
The PFR5R-11 has a special ground electrode that has a copper core to help dissipate heat and that is why there are no other options
recommended. I would suggest only using the PFR5R-11 for this
application (SRT6) as a standard ground BKR5EIX-11 could have a ground electrode over heating issue. Hope this helps, thank you.
So who has been using BKR5EIX-11 in a SRT6 and what are the results? How long have they been installed?
Thanks
