Regarding the taping of the latch: Do I just wrap electircal tape around the horizontal part of the latch?
I read about the "Velcro fix" a year ago when I owned a Limited and it worked great - put the "stiff strip" where shown. (I had already adjusted the stops out as-far-as-possible) When I got my SRT6 - I made the same mod - and it took care of the issue -
I think all XF's must have this issue - never did try the electrical tape - but I would think it would work - not sure how long it would last but who cares - both are a cheap, easy fix to the darn rattle issue...
