Default Driver door rattles when top down on ruff road...

Noted today that my driver door rattled when I got on some older roads, but the passenger door was silent. The car had 10K miles or so when I bought it but was very tight. I only noticed some tiny little rattle from somewhere inside the driver door, almost thought was the door lock button, but that wasn't it. Today I got a full fleged rattle while in a town called Dunnellon close by. The passenger door has obviously been opened and closed less and made no noise of any kind.

Is there any wear adjustment on the drivers door, or part that I can replace to tighten up that driver door. I looked at the screws and they are all set in a countersink of some kind that keeps them from moving at all. But somewhere in that latch mechanism something has either worn or been bent and permits a rattle on a poorly surfaced street when the top is down. When the top is up - ah! well I can't say I guess as I didn't put up the top on that same road, so my research is incomplete...

Any wisdom on where I should look to fix this single rattling door?

Thanks...Popeye
