Default Installing my pulley and Tstat 180 degrees

After I have finished my install of the stat and run it with the new pulley, I will release the how to for the stat.

I had a big problem ( 3 weeks of searching ) finding a spring. There was no apparent source for a 1/ 3/4" coiled compression spring available to me. Looked every where. Even thought about tearing into a mattress to get a spring to reform.

Then I said where else have I seen a spring like that and TA - DA it hit me. This seems like the stuff I needed to create a simple [ hand drill and pliers and file ] design for others to reproduce. I could do it easier but not be totally sure that it was a bullet proof concept.

The spring is available for about $10 which is in my range of pricing. Better yet it is available to you - all and in your town, by crackie! What a deal.

Now I gotta tell ya that I do value form and function and you have to smile or LYAO at the source. Just wind it up and then slip it out of the hose, 10$ or so.........

Enjoy, Woody

My stat is working, I just gotta be sure that the " kit approach is all that it is advertised to be"
