Default Re: Crash Test Dummy Drives Crossfire

Chuck65, I'll wave to you. I'm hoping to drive the Crossfire to Port Clinton for a business trip at the end of June. I'll be racking up some miles on Rt.2. Can't wait to see how the paint holds up to the May Flies. Come to think of it, perhaps I shouldn't subject my baby to the bugs. I have permanent scars on my Xterra's grill from the may flies. I can remove the buggers from the paint, but the plastic areas are another story. They leave a permanent mark in the plastic.[/QUOTE]

Believe or not Port Clinton is where I was headed when the above Crash Test Dummy incident happened. We went out from Port Clinton and out around Catawba Island and back home. Many that read this forum have no idea what the annual May fly hatch amounts to. They last about 2 days and die and it takes snow shovels to get them off of the driveways and parking lots. Sure wouldn't want to subject my Crossfire to that. Thanks for the post.
