I have done this on several cars wheels and the easiest way for me was to use a good size hand buffer 7" and mount the wheels on the front of the car. Lift the car on a floor jack or lift and buff the wheel as it turns. Don't need the emery paper, just buffer and a bit of water to keep the rubbing compound from glazing. Woody
I like this idea, but how to you get the clear coat off without taking the tires off the wheels? I would think Aircraft stripper would damage the tire...
