LOL I rented a Chevy HHR a couple of years ago and became very annoyed at the light sentinal whatchamacallit. On an overcast day, stuck in stop and go traffic, the damn lights came on every time I crawled my way under an overpass on the freeway. I would emerge from the underpass and the lights would shut off. I'm sure the guy in front of me thought I was a total idiot. Took me a little bit to figure out what was actuallly going on as I didn't realize this vehicle was so equipped.

Funny the things we want our cars to do for us, as we aren't capable of determining when we should or shouldn't turn on our lights.

I prefer usefull things, like the car knowing you had the lights on while driving so when you reach your destination, turn off the engine and exit the vehicle the lights come back on for a brief period to illuminate your way. It's as if the car is saying "hey, I know it's dark out, let me help you get from me to the house safely."
