its no matter the placement of the filter in the foglight hole because of the way the air travels in that area it is forced to be sucked up into the filter. if you acutally look inside of the foglight hole ull notice its sort of a small box. becaue of this the air is kind of trapped and the only way out would be the same way it came in or get sucked up into the intake. So itll obvisouly be somewhat forced to intake filter.
