2 quarts over? Wow! Our receipt showed they put in 9 quarts. I figured they rounded up from 8.5 quarts. I wasn't going to quibble over the cost over the cost of a half quart. But this experience does make me want to start getting back into changing the oil myself.
Now, topsider or draining it from the bottom? There are lots of good points on each side of this subject here (after doing many searches) but I've still not decided which way to go.
