I want to SOFTEN (yes, soften) the ride of my SRT. It is my daily driver and lets just say the roads here in downtown Houston are less than forgiving. My goal is not to change the ride height of the vehicle; I just want to soften the ride so I don’t get thrown around every time I go over a bump.
I have no experience with aftermarket suspension, so my question is – what would be the best system to soften the ride?
From what I have read Eibach would not be what I am looking for, and not sure Konis would give me that much of a softer ride either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated…
My daughters SRT was bottoming out whenever I went over a rise or dip in the road. I explained this to the dealer and also told them that my SRT never would bottom out. They replaced her front shocks and the problem was solved. I like the stiffer ride. Hers is much better now.
My question is would the change to softer shocks or springs cause you to bottom out in the front?
