Thats why I really bought the car. I wanted to believe that I was driving a locomotive. Wouldn't it be cool if the whole rest of the car looked like a locomotive? I'm sure you would be the envy of all of your friends and relatives.
Just think of the amazed owners of other cars when a locomotive blows their doors off.
All kidding aside, I agree with Mike, I like the strakes. I think the only problem most have with the strakes, including me, is that they used them on other Chrysler cars and didn't keep them exclusively on the Crossfire. The strakes are part of the "Deco Design" influence that I love. If you know anything about sheet metal work, the strakes also add rigidity and structural integrity.
