OK, I'll chime in here with a serious answer. My wife has done every bit of investigation available on Bichons. Our 3 year old Bichon is immaculate (will send a current pic; she is getting groomed tomorrow). The answer is diet. Holistic, organic, dry food (brands are Wellness, Eagle Pack, Wilderness Blend) with practically nothing off your dinner plate. Ours likes carrot sticks and bananas as a treat. Stainless steel bowls and filtered or bottled water. Clean eyes of gunk every day and there you have it.
