I've had this same problem over the months also. It says "no CD", but one's in there and wont come out. It also says "error" at times. I dont have a clue, but the next day I start it up, the CD comes out like nothing happened. I've got my dealer ordering another one because mine skips and clicks too. I dont think it has anything to do with what kind of CD you have, store bought or burned.
