I'm not a big bra fan either, but I have one on mine. It all depends if you drive your car a lot, hardly ever wash it and if you don't cover it. I personally only drive my car maybe once a week to work, I mostly just drive it after work. I drive on the worst freeway in Southern California loaded with semi trucks. I hate taking the chance of rock chips. I also wash my car once a week and keep it covered. If you want one, just wash often and remove the bra everytime making sure to shake all the debris from the felt.
