The wires will reach. I think there is a little retaining clip that holds them down. The brack replaces the factory one. One you get the wires free it will make sense. The Elbow is a PAIN, but it will go on. Like RPM said, start at the bottom and work around. I thought he had revised the instructions, but maybe not.
