Default Re: NA performance list

Sorry guys just belted it out but to clarify the figures I added to TVT are the ones quoted by the specialist engineers that do my mods.

All have been designed to work together, which is why I'm kicking the Porche and Lotus buts on the track

"Just to clarify your HP quotes here: an exhaust will add 12RWHP at best with a properly built dual exhaust "

Properly built removed cats mandrel bent estimated but not Dyno proven

The ECU tune wil not you no more then 18RWHP without larger injectors, regardless of the octane you use.

ECU Tune made without emmission restrictions if you take the time to read the Powerchip site there are significant gains to be made by Octane ratings and when you take the emmissions out of the equation even more.

You can't make power without the fuel. Hence bigger injectors.
Agreed but the bigger the bang the more the power, hey I might go to Nitro just kidding

With a spot on tune and the stock intake and exhaust manifolds, 300HP will be extremely tough to get, but doable. A new manifold and headers will really wake this engine up.

Headers are in the process of being bent now, intake is being looked at to see if we can open it up a bit but retain the appropriate swirl and internal finish to aid combustion.

As said it all adds up to harmony, but if you have the right people who are SPECIALISTS in their individual fields it is quite doable. (is that a word?)
BUT you have to find the right people.

Having said all that we are now looking into the Vortec side of things and fuel ratios and delivery are critical here. The Benz guys have a bit of an idea I am using Harrop engineering here for dev work. Harrop do a lot of the V8 Supercar intake and engineering work here so we will see what they come up with.

Hey it's all fun
