That IS the entire point, part of the fun of owning a car is seeing what you can get out of it. If someone wants to take a slow car and make it fast and they have fun doing it then that sounds like a pretty good point to me.

Some people mod ugly 4 door grocery getters and some people mod sporty little coupes. Modding cars is a hobby, if we all only modded race cars then it would be pretty boring.
