That might be why Google placed a data center here in our county, because the cost of power is less than half the cost that it is out there.

The Lenoir offer certainly had much to recommend it. Electricity, for one thing, costs only 4.5 cents to 5 cents per kilowatt-hour on average in North Carolina.
