Default New Kenwood PNAV-512 Installed - No AM Reception

I just installed the new Kenwood PNAV-512 Nav/DVD which consists of the KVT-512 and the KNA-G510. Installation was super easy as and it took about 3 hours from start to finish. This was partly due to the fact that I fitted everything twice just to make sure. I installed the GPS module under the passenger side carpet where the foam is. It's the exact same height as the foam and so I just cut out a square, taped the foam with stick tape so it didn't bead up under there from vibration and ran the wires along the plastic bottom part of the center console. If you take the floor vent and screw out of the vent on the passenger side, you have plenty of room to fit your hand in there to manuever wires. Like I said, the install went good but now I have absolutely no AM reception. I had great AM reception with my other radio so I don't get it. I searched for "AM reception" and "am radio" but the word "AM" is too short so it gets ignored. Anyone have any advice? I know I'm too young to be listening to the AM dial in the morning but I need my WCCO for anyone that lives in MN and it's drving me nuts right now knowing that tomorrow morning, I'm gonna have to listen to the half @$$ed morning show because I can't get any AM reception.

Also, I have two pictures of the install. Phone battery died after I took the first two so when I'll put the rest up tomorrow. Looks pretty good. Gonna have Q2 Designs paint it cilver to match the rest of the interior but it's low on my list of priorities at the moment.
