Default Re: New Kenwood PNAV-512 Installed - No AM Reception

Yes, the antenna is firmly connected and put heat shrink tubing on every connection so that nothing would vibrate loose. I tore into it twice just to make sure that I did indeed have everything connected and didn't overlook anything and it all looks good. Also noticed that my FM reception, although not terrible is worse than with the stock unit. Is there an antenna booster that I would need to install since the coupes don't have an actual aerial antenna but rather it being in the rear window? I'm perplexed as I have installed lots of A/V equipment in my friends and my cars over the past 10-11 years and never once had anything like this happen.

Thanks in advance.
