Not sure if he ever got it done or not... but here's the drawing I did for him.
His fabricator said it would be better to make the tank out of a single piece of aluminum and bend the walls, where I have several plates being put together.

I don't have room for a tank that size but was considering a similar type design with a seperate ice cavity that would not add to the coolant level as the ice melted. But I decided to go with a Canton type tank similar to MRPhotoman using the OEM mounting location so I could maiximize coolant capacity while when not icing. The tank will have a small check-valve to allow the expanding CO2 gasses to escape as the dry ice melts. You can still add (distilled) ice but would need to drain some of the coolant when the ice melts to avoid overflow.
