Default Re: Insurance cancellation question

Sounds like you just changed cars and they assessed your Crossfire premium higher then your previous car. If this is the case you need to pay them they can make your life difficult. A few years ago I received my fourth ticket within three years and Farmers decided on their own to switch my insurance to another provider and put my then 18 year old son as the primary driver of my Dodge Diesel Ram for $485 a month. I contacted my agent the minute I received the notification and told them that I agree with their terms and immediately canceled all my auto and home owner's insurance that day. Two months later I receive a letter that I was being turned over to a collector for the unpaid policy which I never accepted and received a mark on my credit report. It took $275 for a letter from my lawyer to set this straight and stop the harassment. The funny thing was that my high risk insurance through Geico was $100 cheaper every six months then what Farmers was charging me for the past 20 years without a single claim!
