Count me in for Quabbin and/or Mt Wachusetts. For those unfamiliar with these areas My Wachusetts is a 100' Mt about 50 miles west of Boston inear Fitchburg. View from top of toll road you can see Vermont, Quabbin NH and Boston on a clear day.

Quabbin is part of the Boston reservoir system created in the 1930's by flooding 5 towns it is the big lake u see on a Mass map between Worcester and Springfield. There are several senic overlooks picnic stops and being a large city's reservoir it is in a very natural state. Windsor Dam and the other southern route offer views to kill for up valley.
