Default Re: Insurance cancellation question

Thanks for your advice/info

The reason I started this post was not to find out if was possible to dodge paying what I owed, but to prevent paying what I didn't. I always honor my contracts to the letter.

To make a long boring mathmatical story short, I did the math and this final bill they sent me is just a tad higher than it should be. After reading the posts here and a few at allstateinsurancesucks.com I think I'm just going to pay it. What I found out is that even if you don't truely owe them that amount, allstate clearly thinks you do and they don't change their minds. Ever. Its just not worth the hassle to do anything else. "Your in good hands" my ****...

I'm lucky good ole' Uncle Sam is sending $600 my way for our little "resession" other wise I may have made something of this.

I also asked because I was with State Farm and I ran into a similar situation which was more drastic than this. I didn't pay what they wanted and never herd anything from them and that was years ago. I can only assume they found out that they were in error.
