This is the smartest comment made in this thread so far. First, I'll say that in the past I've been guilty of racing on the street. Thankfully, I've outgrown that now and haven't done since I was about 20.

I just find it ironic that some of the people in this thread from a while back that are tearing down a kid for driving drunk and cutting donuts with his Dad's car:

Are the same people who think it's OK or cool to street race. As far as safety for yourself or more importantly the safety of others, it's just six of one and half dozen of the other IMHO. You still run the risk of killing yourself or somone else because of your stupidity.

If you want to race your car, please do.. but keep it at the track.
